Key points for construction and installation of pneumatic high-temperature discharge valve
date:2024-05-28 10:12
The pneumatic high-temperature discharge valve is easy to operate, with free opening and flexible and reliable movement; The valve disc assembly and maintenance are simple, the sealing structure is reasonable, and the replacement of the sealing ring is convenient and practical. Structure: mainly composed of valve body, valve disc, sealing ring, valve stem, bracket, valve gland, handwheel, flange, nut, positioning screw and other parts. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines.
Key points for construction and installation of pneumatic high-temperature discharge valve
1) The installation position, height, and inlet/outlet direction must meet the design requirements, and the connection should be firm and tight.
2) All types of manual valves installed on insulated pipelines must not have their handles facing downwards.
3) Before valve installation, a visual inspection must be carried out, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the current GB standard "General Valve Markings" GB 12220. For valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0 MPa and serving as a cut-off on the main pipeline, strength and tightness tests should be conducted before installation. Only after passing the tests can they be used. During the strength test, the test pressure should be 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the duration should not be less than 5 minutes. The valve casing and packing should have no leakage, which is considered qualified. During the tightness test, the test pressure is 1.1 times the nominal pressure; The test pressure should meet the requirements of GB 50243 standard during the duration of the test, and it is qualified if there is no leakage on the sealing surface of the valve disc.
